When is Business Std the right choice?
Business Standard is the right choice if your employees need full desktop Office apps and you don't have advanced security or compliance requirements. It covers most SMB needs and offers good value, especially for organizations under 300 users primarily working with documents, email, and Teams.
When should you choose a different plan?
Choose a different plan if you need device management (Intune), advanced security (Conditional Access, Defender), or compliance tools. In those cases, Business Premium or E3 are better choices. If you only use web apps and don't need desktop installations, Business Basic can save you money.
