When is M365 E7 the right choice?
E7 is the right choice if you're already on E5 and considering Copilot, for $9 extra per user per month you get Copilot plus Agent 365 and Entra Suite. Also a fit for large organizations betting on AI and wanting to cut license management down to one SKU.
When should you choose a different plan?
Choose a different plan if you're under 300 users (Business Premium or E3 covers you), you don't need AI (Copilot and Agent 365 are unnecessary), or you're budget-conscious and can manage with E3 plus targeted add-ons.
