Look at the rightmost column. The implied rate is not the same for every plan. The Business family sits at 6.467, Microsoft 365 Enterprise at 7.230 and Office 365 at 7.525. That is the proof that Microsoft does not convert from dollars but sets Danish prices per product family.
The consequence is that any price worked out as dollar price times today's rate will be wrong. At a rate of 6.69, $26 for Office 365 E3 gives about 174 kr, while Microsoft charges 195.65 kr. That is 12% more than the calculation shows.
What affects the Danish price?
The price you actually pay may differ from the table above. The reasons:
1. Danish list price, not the daily rate Microsoft publishes a Danish list price per plan. It changes when Microsoft changes it, not when the dollar moves. The table above is the price you are invoiced against.
2. VAT The list prices exclude VAT. For a VAT-registered business that is the right figure to budget with, but the number on the invoice is 25% higher.
3. CSP partner margin If you buy through a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), they typically add 0-5% margin. Some include support and onboarding in the price.
4. NCE vs. Enterprise Agreement New Commerce Experience (NCE) is the standard Microsoft uses for SMBs. Enterprise Agreements allow price negotiation, but volume discounts were removed on 1 November 2025.
5. Monthly vs. annual A month-to-month agreement with no annual term costs around 20% more than an annual commitment. Microsoft's 5% uplift from 1 October 2026 does not touch Microsoft 365: it applies to CSP software subscriptions such as SQL Server and Windows Server on an annual term billed monthly.
The July 1, 2026 price changes, what do they mean?
Here are the concrete increases in Microsoft's USD list price. The numbers are USD per user per month, not kroner:

My recommendation
Budget against the Danish list price where Microsoft publishes one. The dollar price is Microsoft's global reference, not what you are invoiced against. Always check the current price with your CSP partner before committing.
Three things you should do:
1. Check your renewal date The price increase takes effect at your first renewal after July 1, 2026. If your agreement doesn't renew until March 2027, you pay the old price until then.
2. Consider Business Premium It's the only Business plan that did not rise. With Intune, Defender and Conditional Access included, it stands stronger than before the increase.

Budget models for typical Danish organizations
Three concrete budget examples. They work in USD because F3 lacks a Danish list price. For the plans that do have one, the kroner figure in the comparison tool is the official price rather than a conversion:
Small business: 8 employees on Business Standard
8 × $14 = $112/mo = $1,344/year.
Beyond the license itself, factor in: a domain (typically under $15/year) and CSP partner margin of typically 0-5%.
SMB: 35 employees on Business Premium
35 × $22 = $770/mo = $9,240/year.
Advantage vs Standard ($14): you save separate spend on Intune (~$8), Defender (~$3) and Conditional Access via Entra ID P1 ($7) = $18 in add-ons. Premium costs $8 extra and includes it all. Real saving on add-ons compared to Standard plus purchases.
Enterprise: 120 employees mixed (80 E3 + 30 E5 + 10 F3)
80 × $39 + 30 × $60 + 10 × $10 = $3,120 + $1,800 + $100 = $5,020/mo.
Note: mix-and-match typically saves 20-30% vs putting everyone on E5. All 120 on E5: 120 × $60 = $7,200/mo. Saving via mixing: about $2,180/mo.
What to factor in beyond the license itself:
- •Consultant hours for setup (Intune policies, Conditional Access, DLP rules)
- •CSP partner margin and billing currency
- •The NCE commitment period (month-to-month costs around 20% more than an annual term)
- •Possible add-ons (Power BI Pro, Teams Phone, Copilot)
Total TCO for Microsoft 365 typically lands 10-20% above pure license prices when implementation time is factored in for year one.

For the plans where Microsoft publishes no Danish figure, namely F1 and F3, the display falls back to converting the dollar price at the live European Central Bank rate, and that is an indicative value.
